Fishing in Norway
Fishing is a great sport, there is no direct competition, but there are winners. It is relaxing, and sometimes it can bring food on your table. There are great places for fishing across the world, but one of my favorites is Norway.
Last week I was in Norway fishing with my friends. It was very cold, but it was a great experience. We rented a small house near the sea, lovely home for a weekend. We on Saturday we went fishing, it was a beautiful day, and steady sea. Although the boat was a bit smaller, we all fit in. When we arrived at the desired place, we started. For a first few minutes nothing happened, as always, but after we started making a catch. Although this was a small competition, and here were a few participants, fun was great. We were fishing Cod, Coalfish and Halibut. At the beginning all fish we caught were small and under the norm, but as the day was passing, are fish become bigger. At the end of a day, my friend pulls from the water the biggest fish we saw that day. It was a Halibut with a weight of 150lbs. Can you imagine this feel? But soon we return to the land. He won a great trophy and we all enjoyed. The best part of a day was preparing of fish we caught. Lunch was great. I haven’t won, but I had the best time in my life. I want to go again! My advice is to go during summer, because winters are very cold and there are less fish.
